Superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘Kochadaiyaan’ will be hit the screens on Rajinikanth’s birthday (December 12).
Soundarya R. Ashwin, who is second daughter of Rajinikanth is directing the 3D period flick which is captured using Picture Capture Technology. Earlier the makers of the film is planned to release the film for Diwali, but due to some reason the film postponed to December 12th, 2012.
The makers of the film said that “Tamil Satellite rights of ‘Kochadaiyaan’ were acquired by Jaya TV, audio launch of the film is planned in Tokyo while the movie will release in December. The premiere of the film will be screened in Los Angeles, London and India.”
The producers of the film revealed about the marketing deals that “Kochadaiyaan producers have tie up with Karbon Mobiles and will launch 5,00,000 Kochadaiyaan Mobiles to celebrate the release of the film. These Karbon Mobiles will have Rajinikanth's personal autograph along with punch dialogues, songs and trailer of the movie included in it.”
Deepika Padukone is playing the female lead role in the film. Shobana, Nasser, Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Aadhi and Rukmini are doing pivotal roles.
It was jointly produced by Eros Entertainment and Media One Global Entertainment. A.R. Rahman is scoring music for the film.
