Ajith starrer ‘Billa 2’ which is directed by Chakri Toleti took an earth shattering opening at the box office.
The film collection figures of the first day were massive. ‘Billa 2’ movie had seen a fanciful opening day. The film breaks the opening day record of the actor’s previous film ‘Mankatha’. ‘Billa 2’ has done a fantastic business in both the multiplexes and single screens at all over TN (Tamil Nadu).
Trade confirms that the film has approximately collected Rs. 7. 61 crore is net after tax in its first day at TN. ‘Billa 2’ has collected Rs. 2 crore at the overseas market in the first day as trade source revealed.
Meanwhile the collection figures of other places in India like AP (Andhra Pradesh), Kerala, Karnataka and North-India not revealed yet. But it’s estimated that the film collected around Rs. 2 – 2.50 crore in the other places in India including the Telugu version 'David Billa'.
‘Billa 2’ has collected around Rs. 12 crore worldwide at its opening day (Friday) at the box office.
