My cine world, brings you the box office verdict of films which hit the bulls eye and the ones which misses it completely at the half of the year in 2012.
There were plenty of those small budget films, but most of them turned out to be successful some turned out into below par. Good screenplay writers in Kollywood are still as scarce as intelligent. The stars still rules and for some reason the audiences prefer to watch lousy movies.
It’s high time Kollywood industry grows as an astronomical rate, amid of year 2012 there are 62 films were released, a very few films are thwacked a success at the box office. Some films which get good response from the audience but failed miserably in the box office, the movie “3” famed as “why this kolaveri di “is the good example for this. Even though most of the people who saw it loved it, it didn’t really do all that well at box office.
Here are the some of the pick of the year :
- Nanban :-
The First release of 2012 and also much hyped multi-starrer movie, which has Vijay, Jeeva & Srikanth, from the director Shankar. It’s the No.1 grosser in the first half of 2012, the film has reached well in all center audience and turned as Blockbuster. ‘Nanban’ has smashed few records in the opening week in the collection and it’s turned as the highest grosser of all Vijay films.

A perfect summer release movie from the director M.Rajesh, who has given two consecutive hits, proves again that he is the king of comedies. Almost, in all centers the film was widely accepted by the audience. ‘OKOK’ is turned as the talk of town in this summer; Santhanam carries the film to winning post. Udhayanidhi Stalin debut is promising and as per the huge promotion, film also turned as a super duper hit at the box office.

A Story revolves with a crime thriller, which is directed by Balaji Sakthivel. Though he made his stable hits, this movie has also received good response from the audience and hits the box office collection.

The real-life incident pictorial film from the debutant Director Sathyasiva . The movie revolves around four person referred as “Kazhugu” who recovers a bodies of suicide victims. The movie had positive reviews. Yuvan Shakar Raja music in the film is talk of town and mainly the song “Aambalaikum Pombalaikum “the song has reached widely among the youngster.

The romantic comedy film which is directed by Balaji Mohan had mixed response from the audience, but surprisingly the film turned as hit as there no big release to ruin the movie.
