The National Award winning director Sarkunam now all set to team up with another National Award winner, Dhanush, for his next film.
The director said that “Yes, Dhanush has agreed to play the lead in my next film and has signed up for the film though we are yet to confirm the producer.”
Like his first film ‘Kalavani’ this film will also be a romantic comedy set in rural Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile the director is still in the process of finalizing the rest of the cast and crew, including the leading lady for the film.
Sarkunam has already come up with a unique title for the film. The film has been titled as ‘Sotta Vazhakutty! ‘
Sarkunam says that the meaning of the title “Just like how we say ‘super figure’ to describe a beautiful girl, ‘sotta vazhakutty’ is a colloquial term used in rural Tamil Nadu to describe a charming man.”
