Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopta starrer ‘Agneepath’ which directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar had seen a record breaking opening day collections at the box office.
Earlier Salman Khan’s ‘Bodyguard’ has collected Rs. 22 crore in its opening day and now Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Agneepath’ has broken the record by collecting approximately Rs. 23 crore nett in its opening day (Friday). The film has created new records in Mumbai, CP, Nizam and Mysore.
The DT Cinemas head, Anant Verma said that “The film has had an excellent opening. The occupancy was around 95 percent. It was the most eagerly awaited and would be one of the biggest blockbuster.”
