Vijay’s ‘Velayudham’ which is released for Diwali has seen an excellent opening in the entire place. The film has being screened at more than 500 theatres across state are planning release more prints.
The mass commercial entertainer has been accepted wall by the fans and family audience. And the film ‘Velayudham’ has been declared as hit in the box office now. It’s reported that the film has collected around Rs. 5 crore nett on its opening day (Diwali).
The film has Vijay, Hansika and Genelia in the lead roles and it was directed by Jayam Raja. Vijay Antony has scored music for the film. V.Ravichandran has produced the film under the banner of Aascar Films.
