- Viswaroopam gets ‘U/A’
Universal Hero Kamal Haasan’s Viswaroopam earns ‘U/A’ cortication with 2 minor cuts in Tamil, while the Hindi version gets ‘A’, which might be due to violence in the script.
The makers of the film are planning to launch the audio of Viswaroopam on November.
- Maattrraan sets record in France
Surya Starrer Maattrraan which is all set to hit the screens worldwide on October 12 is sets a new record in France. Maattrraan is the first ever Tamil film to have huge opening in France with France subtitles.
Aanaa Films is distributing the film in France and Maattrraan is released in 14 screens across the country. The French actor Reda Oumouzone has played one of the baddie roles in the film will watch Maattrraan premier at Gaumont St Denis in Paris on October 11.
- Aarohanam to release on Oct 26
Lakshmi Ramakrishnan’s debutant directorial film Aarohanam is finally set to release on October 26, 2012. The film has completed censor formalities and gets a clean ‘U’ certification by regional censor board. Aarohanam has Veeresh, Jai Quehaeni, Sampath and Jayaprakash in the lead roles.
