Sridevi Starrer English Vinglish which is directed by a debutant director Gauri Shinde had a very good first weekend.
The film which had started on a slow note on Friday, but the word from the mouth has helped the film in a big time to show good growth over the weekend.
English Vinglish has done best business in places like Mumbai, South and Mysore. The film did exceptional well in multiplexers.
English Vinglish first weekend breakup:-
Friday – Rs. 2.50 crore, Saturday – Rs. 4.40 crore and Sunday – Rs. 6.16 crore.
English Vinglish has totally collected Rs. 13.06 crore nett in 3 days at Indian box office.
